A Chipping Sodbury Golf wedding is perfect for a family affair. Unusually, the day started at home with the bride and groom getting ready together with their children. The children loved being part of the preparations. We all headed over to Poole court registry office. The Yate registry office is housed in a stunning building in the middle of town. Jason arrived and helped seat the guests. Ria, her dad and the children arrived just before the ceremony. The happy couple tied the knot in front of their family and friends.
The register was signed and everyone went outside to celebrate by throwing confetti and having their photos taken. Then it was off to Chipping Sodbury Golf club, a short drive away. The sun was still shining as we drove up the long winding country lane, surrounded by stunning greenery. Ria and Jason posed by their vintage car and for a whole group shot (taken from the balcony) then headed inside to escape the rain that was creeping in.
Not letting rain get in the way of their wonderful day, Ria and Jason enjoyed their wedding breakfast and speeches before relaxing with their guests. The tower of cupcake went down really well too (especially with the kids!). More friends and family joined them in the evening for a wonderful party and plenty of dancing.
As the sun was setting, despite the rain, we managed to shelter on the balcony overlooking the golf course for some more couples pictures. The great thing about being at a wedding celebration all day, is that there’s always time for more photos. And of course, we always bring large, white umbrellas, so there’s no way out wonderful British weather can get in the way of the celebrations!!
Congratulations Ria and Jason.
