A Cumberwell park wedding is a wonderful venue, not only for the wedding ceremony, but the breakfast and party that follows too! It’s also a great spot to fit in a round of golf in Wiltshire’s only 45 hole golf course. After getting ready at the local Leigh park hotel, Donna headed over to Cumberwell Park. We arrived ahead of the bride and spent some time photographing the groom who was waiting nervously. The guests arrived and were seated ready for the ceremony when Donna made her big entrance.
After Matt and Donna tied the knot, we had fun taking the formal family photos before the guest enjoyed some tasty looking canapés along with their drinks. We then whisked the bride and groom off for their couples photos. Heading out on the golf carts and we had great fun shooting photos all over the golf course. We enjoyed the views, lakes and greenery. This also gave Donna and Matt time to enjoying being together without the hustle and bustle of all their guests.
We returned the couple for their wedding breakfast which looked and smelled fantastic. The speeches were enjoyable with a hilarious (and slightly embarrassing) slide show 😉 The cheese cake was cut (and everyone loves a cheese cake!) and the party started. Donna and Matt had a cèilidh with a live band. These are always such a great way to get everyone dancing, especially those guests that wouldn’t normally venture onto the dance floor. With someone calling out all the moves, lively music and everyone joining in, it’s a sure way to have a fabulous evening on the dance floor.
Just before the evening finished for us as photographers, we popped back outside with the Donna and Matt. We couldn’t miss the chance to capture a few more shots of them outside their wonderful venue.
