enjoyed a stunning Tortworth Court wedding, a venue with an impressive history dating back to the 11th century. Zoe held her wedding preparations in a spacious hotel room with her bridesmaids and mother before heading down to the ceremony in the bright and airy orangey (built way back in 1874!). It was a lovely, relaxed ceremony with plenty of smiles and kisses. The whole wedding party then made their way to the front of the impressive house for their photos on the steps. Confetti flew, groups smiled and in no time, the guest were back in the hotel enjoying some drinks whilst the hotel prepared the wedding breakfast. Meanwhile, we whisked Zoe and Stuart off around the grounds for their couples photos.
With 30 acres of country estate, Tortworth has more photography opportunities than you could ever take advantage of on your big day. So much so, we came back out after the sun had gone down for a second set of photos, making the most of the grand building and the beautiful deep blue sky. Whilst it was a cold day it was beautifully crisp and dry. A clear evening sky was the perfect end to the couples photos, though we did sneak a final one just outside the orangery where the evening party was getting underway.
A live band kicked off the party with the first dance. New friends joined the happy couple and everyone seemed to be having fun catching up with each other or meeting their new family. Of course, the kids all had boundless energy too! The dancing carried on well after we left and everyone looked like they were having a great time. A Tortworth Court wedding is the perfect way to start a long and happy marriage together. Congratulations to the happy couple!
