A beautiful wedding at St Marys Church in Frome and then on to the Standerwick centre wedding breakfast. There were a lot of laughs at home as Alex and her bridal party dressed and applied their makeup for the big day. The groom was getting ready just a couple of streets away so before we headed off to the church, we popped to his house to capture the grooms-party getting ready and enjoying a drink. Everyone was very excited, even the kittens!!
St Mary’s church in Frome is a beautiful wedding venue. Built in the 1900’s the church itself is beautiful both inside and out. Alex and Rich enjoyed a relaxed service where they tied the knot in front of friends and family. The rain got the better of the family photos so we took them inside the stunning church itself. But once the family and friends had left to make their way on to the next venue, we broke out the umbrellas and headed back outside for some couples photos. The British weather won’t beat us!!
We met the coupe again at the Standerwick Centre after they’s enjoyed a private drive in their wedding car. A tasty buffet was waiting for them on their arrival. Everyone enjoyed the breakfast and the speeches too. An important part of the day for Alex and Rich was to release balloons for all those people that were no longer with them, or able to make it to the ceremony. It was very moving to photograph everyone letting go of their balloons.
The evening party started straight after the first dance. Everyone hit the dance floor to party the night away and enjoy a drink at the bar. The sun broke through before it set. An opportunity too good to miss, we snuck the couple back outside for some final photos. We left the guests partying the night away!
